The Permanent Secretary urged the farmers around this factory to come and exploit it. It has has experts that have extensive knowledge in livestock farming that can guide and teach local farmers how well they can treat and feed their livestock.
“I want to call upon the maize, rice, soybean, cassava and wheat growers, nearby around to contract with the factory so that you should work together for common interest,” the PS told Huye farmers. “This factory needs your harvest as raw material; this will help you to get a surely market nearby.”
The PS also thanked the Government of Korea not also for their support in building the Huye-based animal feeds factory, but also for many other project agreements which both countries have together in agriculture and other sectors.
Ambassador Kim Eung-joong commended the good cooperation between Rwanda and Korea, and reiterated his country’s commitment to keep supporting Rwanda’s agriculture development.
