MINAGRI hosts a one-day meeting with stakeholders
On Thursday (May 5, 2022), MINAGRI hosted a one-day meeting with stakeholders and development partners in the agriculture sector in Rwanda to exchange on the sector’s performance and also brainstorm on possible areas that should receive more focused attention in the short and medium term.
Among key topics discussed at the meeting include ways to strengthen engagement and alignment with all stakeholders to successfully implement sector activities, and how to strengthen resilience to climate shocks, market volatility, and other adverse events that affect the sector.
The meeting also discussed on ways to accelerate productivity growth and a market-driven agriculture sector, and how to realize opportunities to the growth of high value agriculture for domestic and export markets.
